The fair is world's most important for the sector of fruit and vegetables and one of the main events to promote Brazilian producers of fruits on the biggest markets of world.
Fruit Logistica 2011 will receive 2 thousand exhibition companies from 68 countries, which will occupy 81.000 m2 of area, and more than 50 thousand visitors of 168 nationalities. Until the last November, 12 Brazilian companies have confirmed participation in Brazilian Fruit' stand that maintains 300 m2.
The companies are Agacola Famosa, Bork Loastica, Coopyfrutas, Exporta Minas, Fermac Cargo, Itacitrus, Itaueira, Multi Fruits, Rio Doce/Idai, RBR Trading, Salute e UGBP. The brazilian exhibitors will show more than 30 kinds of fruits produced around many states of the country.
"Our expectation for the Fruit Logistica is always too big. We intend to get close with ours buyers and look for new importers because that is main showcase at the sector. We expect a great generation of business", says Ibraf' manager, Mauacio Ferraz. meat cutter
Brazil is the third world's biggest fruit producer with 41 millions of tonnes in 2010. From this total, 31% have abroad markets as destination, being as fresh fruits (2% of total) or industrial (29% of total).
